I started lessons with Roy back in July 2000. I had never been behind the wheel of a car before starting lessons with Roy. I expected to be just sitting in the car for the first 3 or 4 lessons "like other people had told me" but was on the road within the first hour of the lesson. And passed first time. Would recommend Roy to anyone.

When I first started driving with my father, I was extremely nervous, firstly because I have never been behind the wheel and secondly I felt I had to pick it up straight away, but I was made to feel like 1 of his students. I wasn't his son at this point, I was a student of his and he gave me all the help I needed to pass my test. I wasn't made to feel I had made a mistake when I got nervous, I was told where I had room for improvement and how to correct it. On my test day I felt 100% confident as I had been taught by a great instructor.
